Welcome at the Historische Auto Ren Club !

The Historische Auto Ren Club (HARC) is a club that is founded by and for competitors and fans of the historic racing sport. For over 35 years we have organised competitions for historic racing cars in which there is increasing interest. Our races are characteristiced by an unique, relaxing atmosphere. Spectators have the opportunity to watch an actual race for cars which are otherwise found only in books or museums.

YEARLY EVENTS

Historic Zandvoort Trophy

The HARC racing season is traditionally opened with The Historic Zandvoort Trophy (HZT).
During this weekend there are competitions for both national and international racing classes. Qualifying and the first races are on Saturday. Sunday is competition only. Saturday evening the HARC organizes a grand buffet at the HARC Hospitality Unit for members and competitors to enjoy.

Historic Assen Trophy

Being given the opportunity to organize a historic event on TT Circuit Assen the HARC organised the Historic Assen Trophy for the very first time in 2011. Important historic developments are researched for this event to combine racing with a wonderful historic perspective.
In 2012 the event will be dedicated to the Morgan car and the 40th anniversary of the Morgan Sports Car Club Holland.

Historic Formula 1

In 2012 the HARC and Circuitpark Zandvoort will organise a huge Historic event.
An event based on three historic Formula 1 classes, each from a different time period.  This wil give a great overview of the development of the Formula 1. There will also be competitions for sports cars and touring cars. It will be an unprecedented and spectacular event.

Grand Prix Classic

During the Grand Prix Classic at Circuitpark Zandvoort you may enjoy the HARC finals. In 2011 the event was combined with the National Oldtimer Festival. The paddocks were filled with the competing racing cars while in the surrounding areas the oldtimer clubs presented their cars and items for sale. DUTCH CHAMPIONSHIPS

It was in 1996 that the HARC started organising the Dutch Championships for Historic Touring Cars en GT's built in 1965 or before. Since 1997 it has become an official Dutch Championship (Nederlands Kampioenschap)(NK) with races in Zandvoort, Assen and several circuits abroad. The age limit was raised to 1971 in 2004 en 2005. In 2009 this boundary was set back to 1965 (for new competitors).

As of 2010 the HARC also organises the Dutch Championship of the GT's & Touring Cars from the time period 1966-1981.

TRACK DAYS

Several times a year the HARC organises track days i.e. 'Vrij-Rijden-Dagen' at Circuit Park Zandvoort and incidently on other circuits. On these days members can test their cars and will be offered the possibilty to drive under supervision of experienced instructors/competitors and improve their driving talent. Tijdens dit soort dagen komen zowel racelicentiehouders als niet-licentiehouders aan bod, terwijl ook deelname met eenzitter en sportscar in een eigen deelnamegroep mogelijk is. INCIDENTELE EVENEMENTEN

Naast de vaste evenementen is de HARC incidenteel betrokken bij andere evenementen in binnen- en buitenland.
